The Construction Youth Trust is delighted to announce the
launch of HRH The Duke of Gloucester’s Young Achievers Scheme.
This awards scheme aims to identify and celebrate the success of exceptional young professionals, to promote
the construction professions to young people of all social backgrounds and, as a result, increase the number
and diversity of entrants into the sector. There are four award categories:
- Architectural Design
- Surveying
- Engineering
- Construction and Project Management
Winners of each of the four main categories will have the chance to be mentored
by a senior industry figure. There will also be an additional prize for the overall winner, chosen from the
winner of the four categories. Prizes will be presented at Banqueting House ceremony in November.
Each of the categories is open to anyone under 30 working in the construction
industry. Entrants should have a degree or other relevant experience or qualifications and the support of their
employer.
Entries must be submitted to Construction Youth Trust by 8 September 2011. For
