The Flat Roof Association.

Flat Roofing Alliance is a non-profit Trade Association made up of UK manufacturers, specialist contractors and suppliers of reinforced bitumen membranes, systems and allied products.

The FRA was formed in 1997, but with origins dating back to 1938. Following a recent period of strong affiliation to The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) has now been incorporated within the NFRC, in a new focus division.

FRA exists to represent the interests of the reinforced bitumen membrane industry in terms of upholding product performance and installation standards so as to maximise quality, longevity and client satisfaction.

FRA also seeks to represent the Flat Roofing industry on National Technical Standards Committees and be an industry voice representing reinforced bitumen membranes and systems generally.

The FRA Focus Division, within NFRC, can now call on greater resources and appeal to a wider audience and thus provide greater value for money for its members.
